wrestling omg that’s just I can’t even imagine myself doing that. oh okay good I thought they’d be horrible. I’m just drooling over seattle’s film studies program and dlsajkfsd

omg i just remembered this but one of their supplement essays is why you want to go to seattle u or why it’s a good fit or something like that i dont even remember and basically just know your stuff and do research about that program and just say why you want to do that and that’s actually perfect because my essay was really bad and basically said “i want to live in seattle” so omg yes that’s the key write a kick ass supplement essay!

oh, okay, yeah. I need extra curriculars omg I’ll just have the around 11 shows I’ll have been a part of by the time I graduate, and that won’t matter ‘cause I’m going into film and not theatre.

no, that’s amazing though. i mean, especially if you’ve been doing it a while it shows that you’re committed which is a good thing. and at least it’s vaguely in the same realm as film and it’s not like you’re going into film and have a solid background in like wrestling (i dont know). point is, those are good extra curriculars!

ah, would a 3.3-3.5 be good? I’m aiming towards having that by the time I start applying, but that may be impossible with my current cumulative gpa being 2.97 or something like that.

the last time i saw my GPA (which was admittedly at the end of last year) it was about a 3.32. i don’t quite know, but obviously the higher the better. and it also has a lot to do with balance of gpa, sat, extra curricular activities, etc. i don’t know it’s hard to guarantee anything with college at all and i hate saying “oh i’ll definitely get in here or there or anything” so yeah.

emmacaraline replied to your post: emmacaraline replied to your post: well i got…

I just remember you saying a while back that you got the SAT scores you wanted and I’m not the best test taker and I have a horrid record so.

Yeah, I’m an awful test taker too so I was happy to get the scores I ended up with. And to be quite honest, according to stats on CollegeBoard and such, I was right in their range as far as test scores go so it was mostly my GPA that screwed me over. But if you think you’re a bit out of their range then apply as a “reach school” or something because I don’t want you thinking that you can’t get in just because I didn’t! gah i’m sorry college is stressful!

…crap if you got waitlisted then there’s NO WAY I’ll get in

No, honestly you’ll probably be fine. I don’t quite have the strongest record, sooo. Plus you never know until you try.
